"I have not retired! I am still providing a bespoke personal approach to meeting the needs of timber buildings. I am a qualified joiner with over 50 years’ experience. My apprenticeship was with Farquhar of Dyce. After becoming time-served I was employed to build houses for the Oil Companies on Flota, Orkney. My strong family values led to me being employed by my father-in-law, G C Carle, in 1977 building garden sheds. In 2007 I became self-employed following his death. I continue his legacy to create long lasting quality sheds. We provide quality that has been proven by a client moving their Wendy house from Aberdeen to Canada, and customers returning when they need to upgrade, modify and invest. Word of mouth has seen our reputation grow. Over the years, we have sent sheds far and wide from Orkney to Azerbaijan and in between.  

 

I pride myself in constructing bespoke sheds through an individualised approach and tailored service. We use this approach to ensure our standard sheds meet the needs of customers from storing bikes to cars or being decked out for the younger generations’ interests. You will not find an order sheet online because we value a personalised touch which includes meeting our clients and discussing the needs. This helps to ensure the quality and longevity of our work. All our sheds are made to order and all done with that personal touch. As a business we pride ourselves on not losing that personal touch when customers order their shed. Over the years I have developed contacts with other self-employed trades people and I am able to offer additional features to sheds such as lighting, base preparation, roofing and paint.
